Parfait newcomer sur la scène électronique, Alex Burgerman aka Todayidance sinue sans filet entre naïveté et pertinence. Tendu entre electronica et club music, le fil conducteur de ce premier disque illustre sans détour la radicalité d’un jeune producteur anglais ayant choisi de ne pas choisir. Lo-fi dans l’approche, ce dernier n’en associe pas moins l’efficacité dancefloor à une certaine forme d’urgence créative pour donner le jour à 5 très positivement étranges plages sonores.
Acidulé par essence, « Carbon » fait converger les fréquences sans en avoir l’air, prenant le parti radical d’allier basses profondes et mélodies en haut de spectre. Tribal pour ne pas dire inclassable, « Mogal » se perd avec aisance entre les styles et genres qu’il surpasse tandis que « Monodrone » et « Sophie » se piquent de lancer un pont entre hardcore originel et Intelligent Dance Music quand « Yes Tech » creuse avidement le sillon d’un dancefloor déviant mais dansable.

Bruxellois d’adoption, le français Jardin égare son « sad & mad remix » de « Sophie » sur de versatiles contrées Miami Bass qui ne s’encombrent – par définition – pas de détails.

Belge aussi discret qu’authentique, Mirror Minds s’est déjà fait un nom, puis deux, avant d’endosser cet alias pour un remix acide et vrilleur entièrement dévoué à la tête, aux jambes et aux petites heures du jours.

Newcomer on the electronic music scene, Alex Burgerman aka Todayidance twists between naivety and relevance. Stretched between electronica and club music, his first record shows plainly the radicalism of a young English producer who chose not to choose. Lo-fi yet efficient, Burgerman gives birth to 5 very positively strange tracks, melting creativity to some kind of spontaneity.Acid-based, « Carbon » combines deep bass and high rising melodies. Tribal not-to-say unclassifiable « Mogal » loses his soul between styles and genres while « Monodrone » and « Sophie » builds a bridge between original hardcore and Intelligent Dance Music when « Yes Tech » surfes the wave of a deviant dancefloor.

Brussels based, the soon to be famous french producer Jardin transforms « Sophie » with attitude. Miami bass infused, his « sad & mad remix » goes straight to the dancefloor point.

Authentic belgian born and based, Mirror Minds has already made a name, then two, before endorsing this alias for an acid and dancey remix that will reveal his core late in the night.
